1. Data Security

Question
: Does ShaumbraShoppe.com use a secure Internet connection when I make a purchase?

Answer: Yes, your address and payment information (credit card numbers, etc.) is securely transmitted from your browser to our store servers using 128 Bit SSL encryption. You can tell by the https:// in the URL bar at the top your shopping cart window and by the padlock symbol (
) located in the lower right or upper right corner of your browser.


2. Privacy Policy

Question
: Is the information you obtain kept private, or do you sell your customer lists to other businesses?


Answer
: ShaumbraShoppe.com or CrimsonCircle.com DO NOT sell or provide any information pertaining to its customers to anyone at anytime. Period. Our goal is to provide a trusting environment to our customers and registered users. We will not jeopardize that trust by selling information.

3. Payment Options          

Question:
What form of payment do you accept?


Answer:
Our online store accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover, Echecks and American Express credit cards. We also accept PayPal. The transaction is processed immediately through our secure e-store server.

Question
: I don't have a credit card so can I still order products?


Answer
: If you don't have a credit card you can pay by PayPal if you have a PayPal account or by echecks (USA only). If you need any help with payment options, please send email with the following in the subject window: URGENT ORDER METHODS QUESTION. We will get back to you as quickly as possible (usually within 24 hours).



4. Shipping & Handling Costs


Question:
What are typical shipping and handling costs, and what are the handling costs for?


Answer:
We currently use the USPS Postal system for Domestic and International Shipping, this shipping system is based on the weight of your package. If you order CDs or books, shipping and handling is typically $6-$24, depending on your country and what shipping method you specify and the weight of your order. Handling fees consist of the actual packaging (i.e., shipping tubes, padded envelopes, cardboard boxes, bubble-wrap, etc) and the human time to pack the order and ship it out. Shipping fees are the costs of the actual shipping.

(Handling fee is $2 domestic per 'product' and $4 internationally.)


5. Shipping Turnaround

Question:
How long will it take to get my order?


Answer:
It depends on a number of variables. We ship out orders with 48 hours of their receipt in our system.


North America:
Express Mail- 1-2 days
Priority Mail- 2-3 days
Parcel Mail- 2-9 days

International shipping:
Express International- 5 days
Priority International- 6-10 days
First Class International- varies - could take up to three or 4 weeks

6. Sales Tax & International Customs

Because our business is located in Colorado these residents will be charged the sales tax based on their county sales tax.

Customs Fees

Customs Fee and VAT (value added tax):  If there are customs and import duties, they must be paid by you once the package reaches your destination country.  These charges are your responsibility and will vary from country to country.  We cannot determine what these fees will be.  We recommend that you check with your local customs office or post office for details on how these charges are assessed and applied.



7. Questions Before Ordering

Question
: If I need to talk with someone before I place an order, what do I do?


Answer: send email with your question and place in the subject window of your e-mail the following: URGENT ORDER QUESTION. Include your question, phone number and name, and we will respond as quickly as possible.


8. Return and Refund Policy

Question:  Do you have a return policy?

Answer:

Returns on Products
We will replace any defective item with prior approval. However, before returning any defective audio CD’s, please try playing them on at least 3 different CD players. This will usually solve the problem.

Refunds
1)  If a product is involved (CD's....books etc...)  - There will be a 10% restocking fee and the remainder will be issued as a gift certificate for the Shaumbra Shoppe. 

2)  For classes, workshops or other events a 25% cancellation fee will apply or a 50% fee if the cancellation occurs within 72 hours of the event. The customer may receive a 100% refund if you choose to have a gift certificate and are not within that 72 hour window.  If you are within that 72 hour window and will accept a gift certificate then a 25% cancellation will still apply. There will be no refund at all if you simply are a “No Show”.

9. Order Confirmation

Question
: Do I get a receipt or order acknowledgement after I place my order?

Answer: Yes. Within minutes after submitting your order, you'll receive an e-mail order confirmation acknowledging that your order was successfully placed. When placing your order, please be sure to carefully fill out your e-mail address, to ensure this receipt gets to you. If you don't get a receipt, please send an email. We recommend printing out the email order confirmation for your records.
